BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF

APOSTLE URBAN M. BROWN

A Louisiana native, Apostle Urban M. Brown is the founder and Senior Pastor of Life in Christ

Family Church in Lancaster, Texas. He is also the founder and overseer of The Gathering

Network and Fellowship. Apostle Brown is an anointed vessel of God whose ministry is family-focused with strong emphasis on prayer, healing, and deliverance. Certified as a Biblical Counselor through the Therapon Institute, Apostle Brown uses practical teaching and application along with a charismatic spirit to enlighten and empower people to find and operate within their divine destiny.

Ordained as Pastor in 1982, Apostle Brown transitioned from full-time business owner, to full

time ministry. He consistently delivers the Word of God without compromise, provoking God’s

people to their rightful place in the Kingdom and overall, to a greater relationship with Jesus

Christ. Additionally, in 1990, Apostle Brown was elected as an Executive Board member of the

Rhema Fellowship of Churches where he currently serves. Throughout Apostle Brown’s accomplishments, he has the support of his lovely wife of 35 years, Prophetess Joyce Brown. Together they share three children; one awaiting their reunion in Heaven.

Serving our Lord, Jesus Christ for over three decades, his life testifies to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Through a lifestyle devoted to God and His people, Apostle Urban Maurice Brown has impacted lives and enriched communities through the work of the ministry entrusted to him.
